What do you know about my child?
A first name, an age band, and the appearance words you picked from chips. That is the whole record. The story idea you typed is kept with the book because it is the brief the book was written from.
Do you want a photo?
No. There is no photo upload in the product and nowhere to put one. The illustrations are painted from your words in a style that is deliberately not photorealistic.
Who can see the books?
You, when you are signed in. Books are not public, not listed, not indexed by search engines, and not shown to other families. The illustration files are served from links that are not guessable.
Do you train models on our books?
No. Your books are not used as training data, not by us and not by the model providers we route to, whose API terms exclude API traffic from training. We do read books when you ask us for help with one.
Do you sell anything to anyone?
No. We sell storybooks to parents. There is no advertising, no data broker, no third party analytics following you around, and no pixel on this site that belongs to somebody else.
How do I get it all back, or get rid of it?
Your data, then export or delete. The export is one JSON file with everything. The delete removes your account, every book, every illustration and every order record at once, with no soft delete and no copy kept.
Children and accounts
Quillow accounts belong to grown-ups.
If you believe a child has made an account, write to privacy@getquillow.com and we will remove it and everything attached to it. If you are a parent who wants a book removed from an account you do not control, write to the same address and we will help.
